This is exciting news! I am going to wait until 05 can be ordered... I am sick of dealers hassling me about how rare 04 6mt IP/Graphite is and they think that they are selling some exotic cars.. I hate them all.. so Im just gonna wait and order 05 when times comes...

I know I cant much of a deal.. but those "changes" for 05 is worth it... better interior... no more cheap looking titanium looking ones... at least that.. i am happy for!

If the 2005 G coupe has 300HP, what's the HP increase for the 2205 350Z? Has anyone heard any rumors on that?

Anyway, I'm perfectly happy with the 280HP in my '04 coupe. 300HP sounds nice but it's not like 280HP is slow or anything. [img]/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/img]

Hey guys, I just heard it from the horse's mouth. Carlos Ghosn (Nissan CEO) called me directly and assured me that the 2005 infiniti G35 will produce 300hp. When I asked him to elaborate on how Nissan engineers had achieve this he said:

The 05 model now comes with the Z tube installed.
Second, the 05 model comes with a Crawford plenum, headers and high-flow cats.

Sounds believable, don't you think???

My friend who also works at Infiniti was told the same about the 300HP from the regional manager. He said this is definitely confirmed. But he didn't ask about the other changes like interior or exterior. He said you won't actually feel a difference with the extra HP.. they're mainly upping it for marketing reasons.

 

Well thats nice and all, but its not like we cant produce the same HP. I do wonder though, if the crawford plenum will accomodate the engine cover, so that there is no need to cut the damn thing out. Im sure that all the parts will be able to be put on our cars. There will always be stronger and faster engines every passing year, so everyone should just enjoy their 03 and 04's and not worry about the 05's.

i'm grateful with my G i have rite now. it's not like i'll be concerned if the '06 came out with more hp, then the '07, then the '08.....

Interior wise... hmmm... if they have something the same nice as the new TL or new accord's, then that would suck

Nissan is totally messed up, they have been doing this crap for the past couple years... We are just some testing samples for consumer satisfaction before they launch their final version.

Increaseing on HP and interior re designa are not MINOR; if tthose are minor, what is considered major? Making a G run 0-60 in under 10s with 2 wheels? lol
