It would almost be easier if you got it reupholstered

no talking all the leather and carpet and headliner out and putting in new materials like suede or leather etc.

If your planning on doin the interior swap now, and then still wanna convert to a 6spd later on.... it might be a good idea to just sell the car & pick up one thats already 6spd / black interior.

Sure you might lose $1000 if you trade.... but that'll be worth it for the money/trouble.

Why not find a totaled G at a junkyard and buy an 03-04 complete black interior?
