Esemes: Here are two close up pics of the stripe. They are red with two smaller silver. The material is made by Cal-Stripes of Santa Ana, CA.

Re: Finally got my OEM Spoiler, Pics.

They just disconnect the wire going to the rear window shelf brake light. Since my XM radio antenna (Terk XM3) is located in that housing, I'm just going to leave it there until I have a chance to purchase the new Terk Micro Antenna. I'll probably remove that brake light housing at that time.

Re: Finally got my OEM Spoiler, Pics.

hi can i get some help plz,

i just installed the front chin spoiler at a local infiniti dealer and paid about 100 for the job. i checked it today and they didnt do it perfectly, the right side is about 1/8 inch lower so if you look at it real carefully, you can tell its not a perfect install. can i do anything about this? i mean i could have installed it myself, but i wanted it done perfect thats why i paid the dealer over $100.

Crocks, thats messed up man, this service rep at my local infiniti asked me if i was getting the spoiler. i told him that i was thinking about it since it was over 400. then he asks me if i looked at ebay and i told him that i haven't. then he tells me that he can probably give me a 10% discount on the part. this piece of trash was probably going to buy the AF fiberglass spoiler and sell it to me for 360. some of these infiniti employees need to get tamed to be humans. fricking animals

Re: Finally got my OEM Spoiler, Pics.

Service workmanship is obviously going to vary from one dealership to the other, but fortunately my Northern CA dealership goes out of their way to ensure satisfaction. The Service Manager sends a letter saying before you take any further action, if you were not satisfied with the most recent service, to personally give him a call and see what they can do to win your satisfaction.

With a program like this in place, there is little wonder why they continually are awarded top Infiniti service awards.

In your particular case, I would approach them with a request for "help." Most humans respond favorably to a request for help. In most cases screeming at them will produce nothing you want. If that approach does not work, contact the Infiniti Corporate Office.

[censored] I think I got ripped off. my strut says 84430 AM800 on both sides. I don't know what the diffusers looks like but heres a pic do I have them or not. Also what is that thing attached to the front of the muffler, is that for aero dynamics or something.

Re: Finally got my OEM Spoiler, Pics.

here's a pic of my led's are they aftermarket? I'm kinda pissed now. I asked for the rear spoiler option and he said they didn't have one in stock with the color that I wanted but they could add it on and he would give me a discount for only 499 instead of the usual 550? that the factory is asking. dang, I always wondered because the paint did not seem that great and it's not glassy smooth like the rest of the car, it has a little bit of waves to it. I didn't ask at the time if it was aftermarker or OEM, but I assummed that since it was from the dealer that I would be getting an OEM spoiler, maybe that's my fault for not asking but still he should have told me that it was not an OEM item.

I can't tell from the picture, but it does not appear to show any of the rear diffusers, and your gas struts have a differrent part number than what comes with the Infiniti Rear Spoiler Kit, Application G35 Coupe (2002-).

Here is a scan of page 7 from the Installation Instructions showing the rear diffusers.

Re: Finally got my OEM Spoiler, Pics.

Hi all,

I think I also got a knockoff from the dealer. When I look closely at the brake light, there is a little "USA" embossed in the red plastic. Which means that it is made in the USA. I can only assume that this is considered a knockoff. Could somebody with a non-dealer installed OEM spoiler verify that their light does not say "USA".

In addition, the spoiler is shrinking and is separating from the trunk lid due to the shrinkage. I can also see some scratches from where the spoiler meets the trunk lid. That actually was my original complaint. Now that I've seen these posts, I may ask for a new "real" OEM spoiler.

Re: Finally got my OEM Spoiler, Pics.

I took the inside of the trunk lid off and I found only two bolts holding the spoiler. The bolts are about 5.5 inches from the edge of the trunk. Doesn't the OEM spoiler have 9 or 10 bolts? This must be a knock off, right? I'm going to complain to the dealer.

I wonder if a data systems spoiler will cover these two holes. Maybe I should get my money back from the dealer and go that route.

Re: Finally got my OEM Spoiler, Pics.

I picked up my car last week and the dealer added a spoiler for free. After all this talk I'd assume it would be a knock off but after checking it appears to be OEM. The spoiler is made in japan. I've also got the upgraded trunk struts as well. The only thing I can't tell is the diffusers....Where the heck are they suppose to be? I can't tell from the install instructions.
