Question Removing Side Running Lights on '06-07 Tail Lights?

I decided not to smoke my tail lights on my diamond graphite G35 coupe because I don't want the car to look heavily modded and I'm really going for the sleeper look once I get it S/C.

But I noticed with my headlights turned on on my 2006 coupe there is an LED ring which looks great, and the LED bars of lights inside the rings. Now on the outside of tail light being lit with a number light bulb not an LED. I know that this is where the turn signal is.

But is there a way of turning off this red light? So the turn signal still flashes obviously but it doesn't stay lit the entire time the headlights are on. I just think it would look cleaner.

What do you guys think?

my bulbs went out and it looks ok.. i like the fact that its a number bulb on the side because it lights up a bit but not too much to take away from the beautiful tail lights itself.

Try a search. I doubt it could be done though.

No I don't believe it can, having it only light up when the turn signal is on would take some work. You could just take out the bulb and have it never turn on.
