Unhappy Whats wrong with my G? Low milage per full tank!

I bought 04 Coupe G35 about 2 weeks ago. I noticed the mileage im getting per full tanks of 91 are about 150-160 miles... Anyone have the similar problem with me, or know any solution of know how to fix it?

I don't step on the gas hard, just driving normal speed. About 70% City 30% highway. I recently changed the Air filter, which was dirty. Oil change, checked the air pressure those tires. Don't know what eles to do to have a better mpg.... Anyone can help?

Thanks in advance!

I get about 300 or more miles to the gallon, is it auto or 6sp.

You need to check your spark plugs your fuel filter get your throttle body cleaned out. You should be getting like 21 city and like 27 highway but thats never accurate.

ya that is very low. I would check the plugs, clean the throttle body, and preform a ecu reset

I know exactly what your problem is. It happened to me. One of your fuel sending units in your fuel tank is going bad. The float arm on one of the units is probably stuck and is giving a false indication on your gas gauage. Take it to the dealership, it should be covered under warrenty!

On my car the maximum gas mileage I have gotten is 240...I usually have to fill up my g35 around 180-210 miles on a full tank....then again I do have alot of mods...exhaust, hfcs, plenum spacer, intake, lowered, 20's....VB upgrade...Those may be my factors. When I was supercharged I was getting around the same mileage as I am now on a stock engine with the mods mentioned above...any idea what that can be?

Happened to me x2 and fixed by dealer, its the fuel sensor somewhere near the throtle paddle goes bad. It went bad again right after the warranty went out, so I just leave it. You will see the needle doesn't even hit full when fill up and after 100miles or so you're on empty. I just reset the trip counter everytime I fill her up and mine can go up to 350miles and fill up around 15-16 gal., and I do have heavy foot.

Yes I can see that every time I filled up, I don't see the needle hit full. I bought this car used from a private owner. Don't get warranty. So how much would it cost for me to fix this issue? Thanks.
