I have a 2 friends that want to see their navigation from their cars, one of which has a 05' G Coupe and the other has an 06' Sedan.
Would it be possible for us to take it out their car and install it on mine??
(The screen as well as hardware itself). And if so, would it have to be done by a professional?
thanks

youll prob get flamed for asking this question but its doable but EXTREMELY costly and its also very labor intensive, its really not worth the headache since the cars which didnt come with nav didnt come with any of the wiring. Id get a nice double din nav system

Tom Tom and called it a day. Unless you want to do carPC like mine, which ripped the whole Sony T-350 apart and migrate onto the dash + some creative work then u'll be happy with iGuidance.

It would be a very expensive, 10+ hour job to install it.
Or you could get a better navigation system for $1000 installed.

even though everybody seems to be doing the DD kit's, i really don't find it that "clean looking." i really don't want a screen that takes up most of my center console and looks like a black hole when its not in use.
i really wish they made the typical flip out style HU's and navigation systems. so that it can be hidden or even taken out when not in use. i really don't feel safe showing off a nav screen when its parked outside somewhere.
