Is $46.00 too much for an Oil change at Infiniti Dealership

My Infiniti dealership is running a special for $39.99 on thier website.
BTW: They told me they use Mobile 1 oil.....

Well after all was done the TOTAL came out to 46.xx?

The breakdown:
39.99
+ 1.xx in tax
+ 4.00 for oil disposable fee???

I was expecting to pay about 41 not close to 50 for an Oil change. I will probably go somewhere else next time... I just go to Infiniti because I dont trust other shops like firestone and local to work on my car....

Any thoughts?

~$50 is average. I know people that pay $75+ at dealerships. Now that is too much.

^you got a decent price if this is for synthetic. If you do it yourself, oil and filter alone will run you $30-$35.

Yeah I was kind of pissed because they usually dont charge the 4.00 for oil disposable fee, or not that I have ever been charged that.

That's cheap if it's full synthetic, kinda high if it's just conventional oil.

Dranom: You can do an oil change with no tools but your hands if you have enough skill/experience.

Do it yourself. You can get the tools for like $50.

Ramps = $30
Oil pan = $9

Thats all you really need, then just buy oil and the filter. This is assuming you have some sort of wrenches available too.
