Quick Question

I went to the Pleasonton Infiniti dealership last weekend and I asked to see the tire pressure monitoring system on the G35 coupe. The salesman informed me that the G35 coupe does not come with a tire pressure monitor, even if you get the navigation system. Is this correct? I thought the brochure said there was a tire pressure monitor included with the navigation system.

Re: Quick Question

I am sure there is probably a story behind this, but the quick answer is that page does not exist. Either it was planned and did not get written in the software or it's just a mistake.

There are monitors on the 18" wheels, I want to say it became standard on all 04s 17s and 18s, not completely sure. No fancy page for displaying the pressure though, would have been cool to have another toy.

Re: Quick Question

so do you have to have the performance wheel and tire package along with navigation to get the monitors? or there are no monitors no matter what with the g coupe?

Re: Quick Question

no, it is on all 04's...has nothing to do with navigation. Your sales guy was wrong. You can prob see the indicator for it on the dash if you look close...i think it is on the right side. The window sticker on the 04's might even list it as a standard feature.

Re: Quick Question

It wasn't available on any 03s. It's not too fancy. Just a light on the dash that lights up when one of your tires gets low. No pressure reading and it doesn't tell you which tire.

Re: Quick Question

yea it comes standard on all 04 g35s, but IMO it is a pain in the ***, because its annoying when the light starts flashing especially in the winter when the temperature changes a lot. A infiniti service rep told me that the light would flash whenever the temperature changes by 7 degrees or more. Also if you decide to get AF wheels the light will come one after driving about an 1 hour or more. They cost 300 each if you buy them separately from infiniti parts. Seriously not worth 1200 IMO.
