Suggestions/ Comments Rims

Ok I have a quick question for everyone. I just got my G about a month ago and love it. I found a guy in my town that has an 05 and is trading it in for something else. He wants me to trade him my stock 19' rims for his 20' Axis Matrix rims. Even trade and he will throw in a set of Tein springs. The rims arent perfect, but neither are mine. I would need to purchase a new set of rear tires due to his showing threads. Again my tires would need to be replaced in two months. So is this worth it, or should I just stick with what I have. Any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated.

Most importantly, make sure the wheels are true.

True as in the correct Axis wheels? I just got back from taking a look at them and they look good. I know if I get them, I will have to have two of them sent into the shop to be refinished and one I think might be alittle bent, but nothing to serious.

true meaning not bent, cracked, leaking air, etc. It can get pricey to fix it depending how bad it is, and I think it might be cheaper/as much as replacing that bent wheel. I wouldn't get it, unless it's hella cheap. That's just my opinion.

I wouldn't do it dude... The stock 19's are just as pricey as Axis...
If your tired of the same rims, get 'em powder coated...

Thanks for all the input. I have decided not to go through with it. Two of the wheels are not in good condition, at least not worth it to me.

its a preference choice.. I personally would never "downgrade" to cast iron wheels from forged even if they look better and are bigger.
