looking for someone in dallas to try "PC in G"

Some of you guys may have seen the first "PC in a Z." Its a really clean and neat setup. Search the forum for it. The guy who made it is also a sponser for the site so he is rep[utable. I asked him if he made or would make one for the G and he would love to but the thing is that he dont have a G35. So he said if anyone from the dallas area would like to donate their car fro a few days and let them take out the center console and do some installing he would make some sets for our G. He said he will make it look like factory navi (pop up screen style). Look for the thread under private sales section. If anyone has trouble looking for the site i'll try to link you guys. I am no way affiliated with this guy. Im just intrested in putting a PC in my car but since i dotn live near dallas i cant donate my car otherwise i would.

Re: looking for someone in dallas to try "PC in G"

I have been wanting to put one in my car for some time now... and I even put an order in for a lilliput touchscreen and Opus power supply. but that fell through and now that the PAC adapter is out, seems like a good time to do this.

the biggest thing that turned me off is the difficulty of mounting a 7" touch screen in the cubby hole and making sure it looks good. I was going to have a shop copy what godofcpu did, but I just wasn't sure how that would turn out.

if anyone can help get this thing going, it would be great!

I'll step up but I want to make sure I have some type of warranty on the work. Is this person a professional or work for an Infiniti dealership? Basically I want to make sure this doesn't turn into an experiment-gone-wrong.
