my friend say's his IROC-Z will smoke our cars what do you all think I've seen him put a deep groove in the road from a burnout so he probably has alot of power.I looked it up and surprisngly i've seen the 1/4 mile time anywhere from 15.40 - 14.40 so I dunno? who thinks win or lose

 

89 iroc z's are the slowest piece of ***** ever... stock that is... if its modded it can be fast... but the 80's is when all the carb testing n [censored] was implemented. they didnt know how to make power on a fuel injected vehicle with all the restrictions

 

My 1998 chevy blazer put a deep groove in the pavement. It all depends how long ya spin em....Youll smoke on him stock for stock. Its only the LT1 and LS1 that will beat us.

I whooped his *** all the way to a hundred then I had to shutdown It was tight. He was modded too. ROFLMAO he was all like "Oh I still gotta Tweak it" and "I got a leak in my Gaskets" and all this stuff he had to say after we were done. Before he was all like I have no chance and "I'm gonna smoke you" and "I'll show you a real mans car!"

 

If I remember correctly that version of the IROC-Z may have had a 225 or 235 HP V8 but the times wheren't too impressive so you should have whupped his butt easily.

 

I cant imagine any stock IROC-Z taking ANY G35. (keyword: stock) The only 3G Camaro worth mentioning IMO is the post-IROC Z28s: though they only had 240-245hp, they packed 345lb-ft so they were good off the line.

 

Did he have a custom top? IROC Camaros are so sweet.

my 1st car was a 305 85 Irocz. Not exactly the fastes car in the world but it had a 50 shot of nitrous. We just sold our 89 iroc POS that had almost 300k miles. I dont think it ever was as fast as my G35
