bought a top speed HKS-style exhaust

got a pretty good price on it. looks really good. but it's really loud in low rpms, esp when you start from a stop. the drone is non-existant when you are cruisin, cant even tell, but it might honestly be too loud for my taste inside... (actually for my gf...) haha

it sounds mean as hell when you get on it though,

pics coming tomorrow morning

here's the ebay link of the one i got.

it's pretty much a x02 type.

okay before you guys SAY ANYTHING!! READ THIS!!

The fitment looks messed up. the right muffler tip is up against the bumper, i'm trying to figure out why, even my stock exhaust did that a little. i'm taking it to the muffler shop today to see what it is, it might be cause i bottomed out sooo bad a few times. but onto the pics of the muffler. video coming..

it sounds real good, but honestly i didnt want a loud exhaust... at low rpm's it's a pretty aggressive rumble, so i might end up selling it and keeping stock. but i love the way it sounds on the highway as your revving, and when you're cruising, it sounds totally stock... i also love the way it looks.

video coming

I have the exact same problem with my xo2. Have the hangers re-welded, extending the hangers. Or else over the months, it'll continue and rub and melt =X

TRUST ME YOU DONT WANT YOUR BUMPER TO BE MELTING! mine is as we speak..

Topspeed is one of the few cheap brands that make good stuff. Good choice for those on a tight budget.
