Am I crazy?

Ok well this could be a really dumb question but Im curious. My mom has an 08 M35x and I have an 04 G coupe 6mt. I feel like the M is faster at least from a dig. Is this true or could the auto vs manual thing just be throwing me off

Go on a two lane road. Line up and let the moms have it.
Or it might be the other way around

Automatics always feel faster because it doesnt take any effort to drive them. Your 6mt is faster though.

It may be because your Mom's is AWD.

Launching my Mom's 5.7L Jeep Grand Cherokee is redonkulously fun. From a dig it just slams your head into the headrest.

BTW if it's the M35x, it's slower. It's heavier with the same engine, and it's 0-60 is about 6.3. If it's the M45x, it's probably even or slightly faster.

AWD probably felt faster because AWD doesn't lose power from a dig (no wheel spin) whereas launching a 6MT RWD 280+HP car might have lost some power through the rear wheels upon launching
