35% Tint on a black coupe?
I know the dark tint looks awesome on the BS and the DG, but anybody wanna give their 2 cents on tinting windows on a black on black coupe? I talked the dealer into giving free window tint as part of my deal, but now that my coupe is here... I'm not sure if it'll look right... perhaps too much black? nothing to break the blackness? It gets really hot in houston and I thought the tint would be nice... but now i'm torn between looks and functionality... any pics of a black coupe with window tint? thanks all.

I think dark tint is great, currently own a black accord with dark tint, definitely do not get reflective tint (my friend did) as it contrasts too much.
Which dealer do you have in Houston? I'm getting mine from the north side and they wanted to charge me for tint, maybe I'll be able to talk him into it after referencing this forum.

I have a black acura cl w/ 25% tint that looks great. It's just dark enough without going overboard on it. 35% is a very nice effect. It will give you a great look during the day while at night, no one will be able to see into your car. Good luck with whatever you choose.

35% with black on black will be pretty dark. I had that on a previous ride, wouldn't go any darker than that.

Here's the catch.. you have nice tint (looks mean).. no one can see you... but is a magnet for cops.. and a magnet for accidents.. at night.. you can't see squat out of your side mirrors.. I got 5 percent al around.. and i wish i got less of a tint.. but then again.. my car is so much cooler during those hot *** days

My car is 35% front/ 20 rear
35% is not very dark n the front windows. i wish i woulda went with 20% all around.

With both of those choices, you will be able to see out of your side-view mirrors at night with out any problem. I've had both percentages and NEVER had a problem. My preference is 20% if that makes any difference to you.
