Re: Another damaged G!

Sorry to hear about your accident Dainiel

I am still dealing with insurance issues after my G was totalled in Feb. As far as I know with aftermarket (i.e. equipment on/or apart of the vehicle that was not included in the original sales invoice) you will have to go after the third party insurance seperately unless you have them specifically noted on your insurance policy. My insurance company was specific about it (not being a-holes about it, but when totalling damages, they had to make the distinction). So things like windows tinting, aftermarket wheels, even your cold air intakes are not covered under insurance unless you have them listed.

Also I had no luck getting a police report for my accident. The Westchester police would not come to the accident since no-one was hurt.

Anyway - good luck with insurance, your car will be as good as new before you know it.

Mike.

Re: Another damaged G!

Yea, the cops in LA wont come for an accident. I got hit once by a guy who could not speak english. Then he tried to show me some phony drivers license without the hologram. I call the cops but they would not come unless I was hurt.

But sure enough, they seem to have time to sit on the highway and rev up behind me because I had my windows tinted. ARRRRGGG!!!!! "to protect and serve"? Its no wonder LA cops have such a bad reputation...even when I talk to strangers from other states!
