Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could give me their opinion on this. My car has a high pitched squeal/squeak that I noticed when driving next to a concrete wall with my windows down. It is only audible when driving (not stopped and not just revving the engine). Like I said, it is a high piched squeak. This led me to think a bad bearing, but after searching the board everyone that has a bearing problem is saying they have a grinding noise. I appreciate any help

 

Maybe your brakes need replacing? There is a metal piece that will scrape your rotor and make a squeal noise with the brake pad material gets thin.

 

Have you had your belts replaced? Just the alternator belt and the serpentine belts for cracks. Get them replaced if there are more than a couple and have your idler pulley adjusted.
