Console backlight

I want to change my backlight (speedometer,Tach, radio...etc) from that orange color to another color. I called up a place but was disappointed when they told me that they could not. Any suggestions?

Take off the gauge, sand the orange film off and throw a couple layers of blue film on. Sounds easy but is kinda PITA. AccordFreak later admitted that if he could do it again, he would just put on blue film on instead of changing the LED's.

Oh yea the LED's are orange too so your probably gonna wanna put white ones in which is a major PITA. A word of caution though, for some reason, AccordFreaks needles got dimmer, I'm not sure if he ever fixed them, you can PM him and ask.

PITA to say the least... has to be sanded while attached to the rest of the housing if you dont want to chance breaking the needles trying to take them off..If I had to do it again I would put the effort into getting an 08 cluster working.
