30,000 mile service complete + Warrenty issues

So I had the full 30k service done minus a few things. The oil change and in cabin filter I didn't have done. I had them flush all the fluids and check out the whole rest of the car and everything was fine. Picked her up today and it felt good to drive her. Even feels a little peppier and might be after the throttle cleaning. Bill came out to around $488 instead of $525 so that was nice.

I also mentioned the cracked headlights and worn steering wheel to them and to my surprise I didn't have to fight about it either. All are being replaced free of charge. Both headlights and the steering wheel. All I had to do was complain once too. I was shocked. LoL lastime the rattle in the rear deck nearly turned into a brawl between the service manager and myself. Each headlight is $800 and the steering wheel is $1,000. Only thing I'm am waiting to hear about is if the dealer will replace the stonegaurd protection on the headlights (around $90). I mean It's an $800 light so naturally I want it protected and It wasn't my fault that the last set cracked inside. We will see on that one.

So overall I had a decent experiance only thing I can complain about is the fact that I left the car there not really sure of what services they were gonna perform and picked it up not sure what they did. I knew the major things were done but the little things that they did it would have been nice to get a checklist from the service tech. Oh well she drives nice and is in the garage so I'm happy. Just thought I'd share.

What is going on with your steering wheel? Where is it getting worn?

Hey, you might want to just let the Stoneguard thing alone. I've heard stories that putting this stuff on headlights may contribute to internal failures. If you push for it, the dealer might come back at you on this.

Hey I posted a whole thing on this last night I thought oh well I'm shot from work so maybe I didn't

Anyway I went to Infiniti of Massapequa. They haven't always been so accomodating but for some reason this time they were.

The Steering wheel is worn at the top where I always hold it and the adhesive is comming through. I dont consider myself to have the grip of death either but whatever it's getting replaced.

As for them trying to bite me on the lights LMAO. I went over to another coupe on the lot the first one I saw and it had the same cracks. they didn't have protection on them. They are $800 lights I feel better protecting them. Plus go look at the plastic on a car that is lets say 4 years old that wasn't covered. It looks like crap all foggy and pitted. I wanted to avoid that so I got the protection. We will see how it goes on them replacing it I'm not gonna get too pushy about it but It would be nice and I feel the right thing to do.

Well I cant compare the mass one to any others cause it's the only one I have been to. But the only reason that I keep going there is so they can fix things that weren't fixed right the first time so yeah you should go to another dealer I would say.
