I was hoping to be able to order around the end of the year... now I know what color. That will be, far and away, the most elegant color on the coupe. I cannot wait to see what it will look like!

I'm not so sure that picture of the Q45 is an example of the color Lakeshore Slate. Here is a quote from an article on the Q45 - "Two new metallic exterior colors are also available for 2005 – Lakeshore Slate (medium blue) and Beryllium (medium brown)." That does not look like medium blue to me.

Thats a misprint. The medium blue is code B21. Lakeshore slate looks to me like a dark gray.

Just enjoy the car you have or going to have. A G35 is a G35. What you make of it is up to you. Whether it has different interior/exterior (rims), etc. You are the maker of you car and can tweak it to the limit of not even looking like a G35. I will like the new ones and I of course fell in love with the first G35 that hit the U.S. I have put over $13G in my car and I will enjoy every single mile of it. To all the bashers & lovers - enjoy what you have and if you want extra horses it is called modding. Or rims, BUY THEM. If you want different interior, TWEAK IT!. (Oh. I read somewhere where in this thread where they said the navigation hides the Analog clock, WELL the Navigation has a clock on it when you turn it on). Overall just enjoy what you have. Quote " It is not what you have, it is how you take care of what you do have".

After seeing these photos, I will deffinately keep my 2004. At 1st when i heard there would be changes I was considering trading up, but no way there are no worthwhile changes. I was never thrilled with the analog clock but it did eventually grow on me, but to stick it in the middle of a digital read out ? Totally lame ! 2 protruding round ***** on a smooth flat center console ? To me the interior changes are not appealing at all. I do wonder if the plastics and leathers will be as cheap as they are in the 2003-4 If anything Infinity should have kept the same interior but used better quality materials.
I look at it this way the 03 & 04's will be the classic G35's !

Where are people coming up with the wheels weighing 100lbs lighter?

I read about the helium-alloy in the CranialRectal-Inversion weekly. Makes your wheels lighter and you can fill balloons with the hot tire air after a run.

i totally agree that with most current coupe owners, it's not worth trading up. for me, i looked forward to the change since i was planning on trading up either way because i now want the 6mt and navi.

Wow...this is a really long thread...I probably should get back to work...heheh...but, I already have 19" wheels and a double din dash conversion and 15 more HP...guess I will keep my 03 and wait for the GTR.

The driver's seat controls are in the same place. This tells me that there will be no memory feature. From what I have seen, if you want an auto, get a 2004 and save some money.
Re: 2005 G35 Link Official from INFINITI!!!!!!!
great photoshop pic of the new g35c interior, look at the **** on the instrument panel, the top one covers the 2 buttons where the climate control is, also the bottom one looks kinda choppy when I saw it, again good photoshop effort
if the above statements were mentioned already in different posts I apologize since I didn't read the entire thread, got bored after the photoshop interior pic
