Ya the '05 model doesnt look to much better but the only thing that gets me is the new Tranny and extra 15 HP, i guess the HP isnt that big b/c i could just bolt on a intake but i was planing on ordering a '04 Coupe 6MT in the next couple of weeks but i dont know how much better that trany will be

Is it just me or is everyone just BLIND? Why are you all assuming that is the 05 G35 Coupe interior?
1. it's a bad attempt at photochoping the interior
2. it's a g35 sedan for god sakes.

and i just wanna say HA! TOLD YOU SO! To every member that didn't believe the 05 will have improvements.

 

So the MT cars gets the brembo and NOW 15 hp more then AT cars??? Screw Infiniti, I'll be looking at another car next year or I'll just keep my present car. I have been driving a manual for more then 8 years and was looking forward to get into an automatic for a change but I will not settle for a lesser car. Who the h*ll makes those decision at Infiniti?

For all of you who will be purchasing the 05, Congrats! However, if the big changes will be in 06 then why bother. Youve been waiting this long, whats an extra year!

I say, BRING ON THE GT-R!! Thats when Ill trade my 6mt in!

 

just the new tranny factor is a plus for the new '05
wonder if that will fit the '04 if my tranny f's up under warranty.

 

There are no pictures posted on the Infiniti media info web page. Alot of articles are based on old pictures and not actual photos. Infiniti has not released any interior pictures yet...

Hey do you have more of thess press pics?

To All: As pointed out the pic is of a sedan (there are four window buttons). The labels on the steering wheel controls look ugly, until one realizes the possibility that they're BACKLIT, which would be really cool. The clock placement toegether with the chopped up climate control display is truly ugly. So is the center console, but maybe that's because it's a sedan that's not a top model (no navi, and maybe only certain models have cassette players?). That row of aluminum trim across the middle of the dash is a nice touch.

To all those who're suffering from this news: cars are like computers, they're always getting better (and sometimes cheaper or more value). But that doesn't mean you "should have" waited. You gotta buy it at some point. Or you can just sit tight and wait while they get better and better.

And then you die.

Did anybody notice they swapped the position of the tachometer with the speedometer.

My prediction - you heard it here first - the increase in Coupe horsepower actually exacerbates the shift vibration AND the idle roughness problems.

whether it's a photochop or not, the placement of the analog clock does makes sense since so many have complained about how the navi when up blocks the view of the clock. also if true, the steering wheel buttons being backlit would be extremely cool too.
