Question New Battery??

Hey guys. havent posted in a while, been busy working.
anywho yesterday i had some free time and my G was dirty so
i parked my g and took out my mini vaccum, its a reg small car vaccum.

so i started to use vaccum cleaner, i had the car lights on auto(they were on)
i had the radio on as well. and the door lights were on

so im cleaning and cleaning and listening to the radio and the radio starts to stop and dim the lights, i thought it was just the signal, so i dont look
, then it does it again so i switch to another station and notice the speakers arent going up or down then the radio shuts off the electric seats are moving super slow and the lights are very dimm..

when i turned off the front lights. the radio comes back on, so i turned everything off and kept vaccumming, and then i went to start my car

the car went zzzzz zzzz, and the lgihts blinked, i tried like 3 times nothing.

i called my dad.

me and him took the battery out checked the water it was good.

we put it back in, then he jumped it with his car, the car started after being jumped.

my dad said i need a new battery ive started my car about 4 times, without no problems my car still has the oem battery.

if i do switch it im going to get an optima red,
my car has about 60k miles 04 g35 coupe.

i was on vacation for 2 weeks to dr and my car was in storage
i used it for about 1 week without problems, untill i had the smart idea of cleaning it
but before this its been working fine what you guys think?

someone told me if i would had started the car instead of leaving it acc mode it would not died?

i think that since your car hasnt been started in 3 weeks and you drained the battery with lights/radio/vacuum in use. You should prob be ok for a little while, especially if you have no prob starting after the jump. I owuld change it after the winter season.

Your original battery can be prorated from the dealer and they will replace it with a 7 year battery. I had mine replaced after 3 years on my 04 and it cost me $42 installed then. After the second replacement, it is guaranteed up to 2 years for full replacement and then prorated again.
