Hey guys i backed into to my brothers truck in my 06 coupe a couple weeks back and ruined the rear bumper so i ordered a new one and had it painted got a good deal of only 275 total. ANyway, i call nissan to put on the bumper they want $450 if they run into no problems i laugh out loud at this and thought the guy must be crazy. So i was wondering, is there a diy online that i could follow perhaps and replace this thing myself? Please let me know as i really do not want to spend that kinda money to have a bumper put on. Thanks in advance for your help.

where did you get your bumper from, online? cuz someone just backed up into my bumper too and I am looking for a replacement bumper at the moment. The body shop I went to wanted almost $400 just for the bumper alone, without paint.

If you have the service manual, the instructions on how to remove and install the rear bumper is there. But here are the 2 pages from the manual showing you how to do it.
