Just Picked up My Second G35 Coupe!

I just picked up a White/Stone 2006 G35 Coupe w/ premium package and sport package!

It only had 8,6xx miles on it when I picked it up!

This is my second G35 coupe as I purchased a new Silver/Willow 2004 back in 2004. However that one was Base...

I'm trying to remember everything about the G since I havent been active for 2 years now! I was thinking about a new G37 but didn't want to throw in the extra cash.

I went through a few cars after my 1st G35! Here are some pics of the orginal G35 and the cars after

I'm glad to be back in to a G35! It really feels like the right car for me and I can't wait to begin the modding once again!!

I do have a couple of questions though:

1) Are the seats in the 2006 suppose to electronically move forward when a passanger in the rear is trying to either enter or exit the car? I remember my 04 did this but my 06 isn't doing this...?

2) The suspension on the the 06 w/ sports package (19's) feels really stiff even more so then when I had my 04 w/ 19" Volks and Tein CS coilovers...can anyone tell me if I changed the suspension to Tein Basics would I get a more comfortable ride?

3) If I did a Double Din conversion would I lose my bluetooth capability?

Nice rides! After all the power, handling, and luxury, what made you come back to the g35 coupe?

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Well I always wanted an M3 so I decided to give that a try and what a headache that was! My engine actually blew on the M3 but luckily I was covered under the 100k mile warranty or else the bill would have been upwards to $10,000! About a week after the engine blew the SMG pump failed and cost me $2000!!! When the car was running right it was an absolute blast to drive.

The s2000 was definitely a fun car to drive but was too small and basically zero torque...

The E55 was obviously by far the fastest straight line car I'd ever driven. I remember getting crazy adrenaline rushes when I floored the car it was unbelievable! Super luxurious but handling was like a boat. Because of what happened to the M3 I was worried about this car since it was out of warranty and decided to sell it.

They sure don't make it like they use to. Here are couple of my ridiculous expenses with the European and American sides:

540 M sport that kept leaking coolant into the heads, blown waterpump that took out the fan which spun and sliced through the hood and radiator....

Clk55 that kept blowing the bose amps, navigation that insists on turning left even with the newest navigatin disc, transmission that refused to work because it doesnt like the cold...

Don't get me started with the s4...

I've had 2 American cars that either leaked water into the cabin or parts just kept falling apart...

Never any problems with the Asian cars...have had the preludes, integras' civics, 300zxs, and etc...

It is too bad majority of the Asian cars are torqueless....maybe that's how they stay so reliable...

Only problem with the g was the window regulator and coming from bmws, I'm a pro at them...
