opinions on headlights EDIT:no longer 56k friendly!

i picked up a set of 06 projectors from a buddy of mine and the chrome was marred up. i assume they were a trashed set from a recalled car. anyway, i stripped them and just layed my primer. seeing them in flat gray makes me think i kinda like them as they are. ive got 4 options, flat charcoal, gloss charcoal, flat black or a gray gloss. just give me some input. i had orginally planned flat black housings with a flat black de-badged grill. but now im thinking mabye spray the grill and match the flat gray housings? these will be going on a DG coupe with hyper black axis pentas.

dont mind the wheel gap, the Z h-techs are sitting in the trunk for me to install tomorrow.

* also, the headlight pics paint has a blue tint b/c it hasnt dried fully yet

You have to adjust the aim down.

I heard the glossy looks corny, from some people Ive talked too. Im going to agree with beebo and say flat black as well. The contrast will bring more attention to your car. My personal opinion.

Not the same color but same wheels, and his headlights are flat black I think. EDIT: I didn't realize that you are going to paint your wheels black. Why are silver wheels called hyper black

they arnt silver, they only look silver with the flash. the pentas only come in hyper black. the hyper black is a close match to the dg color. the wheels will be staying what you see in the pics. im only going to do an emblem delete on the grill and spray the grill and headlights. but thanks for the link.

i really wanna go flat black but the contrast with the DG makes them stand out a bit too much for my liking.also, as you can see in the photo, the projector shroud will stay chrome

go with your gut instinct! or youll be debating all day and not be satisfied.

flat black would be a niice contrast on DG

try and look for pictures of flat black on a DG maybe you can find shots of others parts theyve done to match. ie, the grill

Personally, I think it will stand out too much. IMO.

I would have done this had I had a BS or DG.

Only the insides are black, with the shroud till silver.

Satin black IMO looks way better than flat black on headlights. I have painted a few sets for people and done both options and even the people with flat liked the satin ones better so I ended up re-painting them.
