well i do notice that and when the gas pump stops pumpin i see about 14.5 gallons going in .. i assumed that it meant no more gas can go in..

Hmm. Yeah. Something doesnt sound right. If you're getting 200 miles out of 14.5 gallons, then thats less than 14mpg.

 

exactly my point, its actually 13 MPG, and thats not good at all! Say when i fill up, & i hear the gas pump stop, and only 14.5 gallons went in, could i keep letting more gas go in with out it letting it over flow? I need to fill up tdoay im below E, im just testing to see how much Gallons actually go in again from below E.

 

below "E'" well, below the last line I get in a little more than 17 gallons till the gas pump clicks. I would have it checked out if you don't get close to the same amount.

 

Once I hear the first click at the pump, I am usually able to get an additional 1-2 gallons in before it's actually topped up.

 

yehh so i filled up today and i heard the first click come, and the gas clerk just tapped me off, and i got 14.6 gallons in, meanwhile i filled up under E soo what could the problem be?
