Re: WERES THE VDC BUTTON

When you're driving, your left knee is pointing right at it. Just up and to the right of the hood release. See pic.

There's a ton of info that will help in the owner's manual. happy reading.

Re: WERES THE VDC BUTTON

When I got my G35 the salesman pointed to the VDC button and said "Never Touch this button"! Yea right, lol. I have had several cars with traction control (or stabilty control), but this one is by far the most sensitive. I could not drive a corner with out kicking it off (is everyone's this sensitive???)

Got through break in today (trying to take it easy), and so I turned off the VDC now and the G35 handles much better with it off. I mean I can actually drive it through the corner using the accelerator to steer once past the apex (thats what it should do)... Probably taking turns 5-10 MPH faster now with little or no drama. Lesson learned, VDC sucks, keep it off if you are planning to do any even slightly agressive driving.

or maybe mine is not working correctly?

I need to get that delay relay (mentioned in other posts) to keep the VDC off. Anyone know how to disconnect the "VDC off Lamp?" or at least dim it down (kind of bright at night).

hg

Re: WERES THE VDC BUTTON

I say this lightly but VDC does work and work well. I agree you can handle your car dry road, but keep it on in any other weather condition!

I driver an AT, but in Manual Mode, taking turns while acc, can be tricky if you don't know what your doing, with VDC off that is!

Oh, and I always thought that little guy with bid ears and a long tail was a mouse! All these years and Mickey Mouse is really an elephant! Damn.....
