I need a recommendation in NJ dealer

Hi all,

can anyone recommend me a good dealership??

i need to get a 2nd opinion on my car, i went to Englewood dealer and what they telling me is that i need new transmission. since this will be covered by powertrain warranty, i dont have to pay for anything.

the main concern is that they are trying sell me a new clutch assy. which i dont need because i replaced my clutch disk last summer and i only put about less then 7 or 8000 miles.

if i tell them to replace the trans only i think that they might pull this nonsense on me. for example, after they pull eveything out and might say i need to replace certain thing because they cannot put the old ones back....

it happened to me couple months ago... and it cost me $1400. so im little paranoid...

and suggestions???

thanks and have a HAPPY HOLIDAY eveyone~
Andy

I don't know of any NJ dealers, but I would let them change out your transmission since you probably have a bad synchro which wouldn't be helped by just a new clutch.

Ray Catena in Edison seems pretty decent. When I lived in that area, I had them service my car a couple times.....Pretty nicely run shop.
I originally purchased my car from Circle Infiniti in W. Long Branch. They were absolutely the best dealership I have ever dealt with. Replaced my headlights, my Drivers Seat leather, Throttle body, and all oil changes and brake replacements that were covered on my 04.
Eric was the service writer, and he was one of the most fair people I have ever dealt with in my life.

That's probably too far for you...but if anyone else is in that area, I would definitely use Circle Infiniti for any service.
