jl sub is THE only way to go for subs

 

why is JL so far ahead of the competition. I would think most high end brands would have solid products, esp. if you buy their flagship speaker/components/sub/amp ???

 

I like my 07 Bose better than what I had in my 2000 Corvette.
I've always liked Alpine and would not hesitate to get one of their units and or speakers/subs.

 

JL subs have been the popular choice, and yah they cost a lot more but theres a reason why


you can always cheap out on a sound system, but thats just a personal opinion

 

what about for just speakers....what name brands should i look for boston acoustics, alpine, kenwood, sony, jl, which ones really have the best reputation....keep in mind im not gonna drop 5k into my system or anything like that, i just wanna make sure i upgrade when i buy something to replace my bose speakers

 

mm the speakers.. id go infiniti, even JL speakers however i dont know how good they really are.. as for alpine and kenwood i wud stick to those brands for head units
