Nope, powertrain is just what powers the car. Differential, clutch, engine, although only if they fail for some other reason than wear. Im not an expert, just an educated guess.

If you are only keeping it one more year, you don't really need to worry about an extended warranty. I personally would just save the money. BTW where did you get those overlays for your clear corners?

Side note, the car looks mean & clean. I'd keep that thing for another 2-3 years. So sexy.

$.02 is no, I have seen buddies got screwed by dealers with those warranties. They'll find something to reject you. Here 1 I remember with wheels warranty, a lot of nice promissing of fixing wheels and replace new ones, the whole she bang. One day he dent his wheel on the FX, brought it in and they refused to replace or fix and told him they only take action if the wheel will not hold air anymore. Now you decide...! =)

YESSSS!!!!!!!!! get it!!! make sure that u find a nice dealer aroudn ur area.. some dealerships will jack u around BUT im lucky to have two "mod friendly" dealers around my area and i got my plenum and my tranny replaced (along with clutch/flywheels too) *busted synchros, which isn't uncommon on our cars* free of charge! also window motors, maf sensors.. various couple trips to the dealer.. so in my experience yes... they are worth it.

The Infiniti Elite extended warranty (backed by Infiniti, not a 3rd party) can save you big bucks down the road if you are planning on keeping your car for a number of years. It covers everything that the factory bumper to bumper covers except wear and tear items and trim. Anything on our cars can cost $800+ to replace and we do have a tendency to see our window motors, actuators, cd players, and compression rods give us trouble.
