I noticed something with my car today. The rubber stripping that runs along the bottom of the rear window stops about a third of the way in (left-to-right from your perspective if you're looking from behind the trunk). The stripping is only visible when the trunk is open. I’ve had the car for two and half weeks and this is the first time I’ve noticed it. I’m just curious if this is how the stripping should be or whether my car is missing something that should be there. I also noticed a piece of black electrical tape that exists where the stripping ends. Any comments and comparisons to your cars would be greatly appreciated.
