Need help with ipod connection

I recently bought myself the new ipod touch. I was wondering how do I connect it to my G. I own a 2006 G35 coupe and i noticed i aint got no ipod connection. What do i have to buy. I dont want to replace the stock bose radio cause its the cd changer also and im planning in trading in the car for a new G37 in march so i need help. I need the cheapest way for the ipod to work and that monster cable that works with the radio station Suxss..Thanxs and happy new year.

cheapest way (with the exception of FM Transmitter that you mentioned or cassette adapter) is the PAC AAI-NIS2 unit. it's $99 from somewhere like Crutchfield and $60-$70 on eBay. add an optional powered cable ($10-$30 depending on which you need/want) for better sound and charging ability.

i have a complete how-to from my install and tons more info on it on my site www.myG35mods.com

other options are the USA Spec and Nissan factory kit - both more expensive. a comparison of all three can also be found on my site.

first off, never heard of or seen anyone here discussing the one azng45 mentioned, personally. i did see their ad banner here however.

second, i purchased my PAC from this eBay seller for less and would highly recommend them.

third, that depends on what you want exactly. for example, do you want a "powered" cable that charges your iPod and connects via the Dock connection instead of the 3.5mm jack that the PAC comes with?

yep that's it man.

like i said the only other thing you could add is a RCA to Dock cable from eBay for around $10. otherwise, just use the standard RCA to 3.5mm headphone cable the PAC comes with.

radio button is fine.

of course - even though you don't have sat radio, your G should be "SAT ready" - which is all that matters.

Hey MaximaGirl,

I have a New Ion Adapter for our cars, never used still in the box.

http://www.neocaraudio.com/advanced_...icle_year=2006

I had one in my car and accidentally smashed the connector, so they sent me a replacement. Before I received the new one, I worked out a deal w/ Metra and got a free double-din dash kit, so I went ahead and upgraded my stereo to the Alpine T205, w/ IPOD dock.

The cool thing about this adapter is it provides a hardwired connection and charges while still allowing you to select music by using the ipod when connected. The stereo buttons allow basic functions, like up and down, and volume.

I am looking to sell it soon.

If you or anybody else is interested, please send me a pm.

Thanks-
