Just wanted to say hi to all and I have found this forum very helpful in making my final decision to buy a G35 Coupe. I picked it up this past Friday and drove down to VA from PA... I LOVE this car. It is everything you guys have said and I wanted to thank you for helping me make my decision.

On a sad note... I just got back from the 400 mile round trip and already a couple of "digs" in windshield and little nick in the headlight. I was trying to be careful not to follow to close to any other cars/trucks. Not the cars fault, and I am sure you guys are having your front end and windshield sand blasted as well. I guess I just wanted to hear I am not the only one Only issue with car and a slight rattle when going about 60 on highway... these rattles are hard to find!!! Anyone else have a rattle when the car was new? Kinda surprised since it is brand new.

Also, was thinking of putting on snows for winter. How bad is this thing with stock tires in snow?

I was able to talk to the dealer into getting me all seasons for my coupe at no extra charge on my 18's. =)

 

Dont even think of driving on the Michelin Pilots in the snow - I have the Blizzak LM22's - they are great.

Do a search on the board - there is much info and horror stories on this subject

You had rattles at 60 mph? That doesn't sound right. I don't have any rattles at 120 mph... Check if it's the passenger side belt buckle that's rattling. If not you should get your car checked Good luck!
