Week # 3 without my G

Week # 3 without my G
Today starts week # 3 without my G. For those of you not keeping score at home, my wife was rear-ended in it on the freeway, coming home from work, back on May 29. The impact pushed her into the vehicle she was behind, thus rear and front end damage to my coupe.
The body shop left me a message last Wednesday, indicating that a "supplement" was needed to continue repairs. That tells me that they found "hidden" damage after the tear-down on the rear end. The message also indicated that it would still be another couple of weeks before completion.
It's so hard to do without! I kinda feel like a father that had one of his children kidnapped, and is desparate to hear some good news. Sorry, kind of a morbid analogy, but I can't help it.
And to add insult to the injury, my closest G buddy Daniel_G, gets taken out just about a week ago in his G, with significant damage.
Can someone tell me what in the hell is going on????? 2 coupes in the body shop at the same time. OMG! Will there be light at the end of the tunnel? Sorry again, I had to vent.

It's only been 6 days and I already miss my 'G' I feel your pain. They told me 9 working days, but I'm not counting on it.

Put some aftermarket treads and laces on those Reeboks. You'll feel better. .
Know that my G is always here for you, should you feel the need........it's only about 2500 miles away.
Hope they fix them up soon for you guys. It must be tough doing without.

I was in a similar accident (rear ended and pushed into the vehicle in front). My body shop had the car for about a week and declared it a total loss. This was mainly due to the floor apron being damaged from the rear impact. I hope this does not happen to you.
Don't mean to be a dark cloud on your situation, just trying to prepare you for what could happen!
Good luck!! I hope your wife is OK and you car is repaired to new!!
Here are a couple of pics of the damage to my car to give you an idea.

Re: Week # 3 without my G
OMG, yours took a much harder hit than mine did, at both ends. I feel that my damage is all cosmetic, but it's the damage that can't be seen is what worries me. A mistake on my post, it was May 19, not 29. Tomorrow, Wednesday, is the 4 week anniversary of the accident. Not a good pic, but this is the rear damage.

Notice in the pic above, the right-rear tailpipe is lower than the left one. I also had one hell of a time trying to close my trunk after I removed all of my items.
This pic is the damage to the front. The grille is damaged, the tip of the hood, right above the grille, is flattened out. Look where the hood lines up to the windshield at each end. One side is higher than the fender, and the other is lower. Hopefully, all cosmetic repairs.
