I had a similar experience and Elite Imports figured out it was a bad fuse in the fuse box... don't remember which one.... replaced a fuse and it started up.... and then my alternator went out so I got that replaced. After that, it was good.

The clutch sensor cost about 15 from autozone. The install was very very simple. All you need is a wrench and a pair of hands. 5 minutes tops!

keypad entry? I'm not sure i follow what you are saying Princess Jen.
I do have a 6MT. And by keypad entry are you referring to the keyless entry system?
I have an aftermarket alarm so I don't use the OEM keyless entry.

Everything on the car worked except the engine wouldn't turn over. I looked under the dash near the pedals to find that the clutch sensor had snapped off. After I replaced it, the G started up no problem!

My car didn't start on sunday morning. But it somehow started around 3pm when I went to try and start it again. Then I was out of town from monday til yesterday. I come home to try and start my car and it won't start. It won't even crank, just silence when I try to turn the car on. But the funny thing is, everything in the car works. All the electronics work perfectly, the radio, heating, dash, interior lights, headlights, taillights, gauges, etc. So I'm pretty sure it isn't the battery. I've also tried jumping it twice since yesterday with no luck.

I'm thinking ive got a bad starter or alternator? Also, the car was parked outside for a couple days straight in my driveway, I'm sure that didn't help. Didn't have space in the garage. And it was a constant 20 degrees or so outside...

I've also tried using my spare key just incase it went bad. Any suggestions?
Same problem here, but mine was in storage and it was about -25 below, so I'm not doubting I have a problem with the battery. I dont even think its been replaced since it left Asia

Heh, would you mind posting up something about this? I'm thinking its my battery since my horn sounds less powerful and it just made your typical woomp wooomp sound trying to start. I'm guessing its the batt for me

I am actually experiencing the same problem right now. I brought it straight to the infiniti dealership and they called me the next morning and said it was the clutch sensor but they have to special order it. I replaced my battery too. I've never even heard of a clutch sensor before haha

Lemme know how much the dealership charges you for it... If they charge anything more than $15... which they will... do it yourself. It literally took me 10 minutes... go to autozone, they will probably have to order one...

same thing happened to my g, it wouldnt start for me twice a month or so. same thing u explained mine did everything turned on but no crank. took it to the dealer it turned out to be the cd changer kept changing over night and would drain my battery some days more than others. they replaced it under warranty and it has been fine ever since. they said mine was the second g at the montclair dealer that has experienced that problem.
