Looking at a 2005....
Hi all, 32000
I am happy I found this site. I enjoy reading all of what you have to say. I am looking at a 2005 6mt, nav, 32k miles. It is in great condition, the dealer is asking $22,900. what do you think would be the best price to pay for this car. The way the economy is maybe I should wait a few months to buy. my first choice was graphite w blk interior but the silver w stone looks real nice.
I was looking at 04s and 05s but think it is wise to pay alittle more to have some warranty left on the car just in case. This car has until aug 09 for the bumper to bumper. (i also looked at a 2004 with 33k asking $20,999) I thought the 2005 drove nicer, the 04 seemed more harsh if thats the right word.
Its silver with the stone interior.
How does the stone interior hold up, hard to keep clean?
Also, are there any of you out there with kids? I have an 9, 6 and 4 year old. I know they will have to pick straws to come with me but the seats look plenty big for them. does anyone have any problems fitting them in?
I appreciate any thoughts.
Be well and enjoy the new year!

+1 on that. Also look at www.autotrader.com for similar cars in your area. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if you found a 2K6 for 23k.
20k to 21k should be good. Then again, I've seen cheaper, there's a 2005 close to me that went for 18,000 with 30k but it may have been salvage/repaired.
And if you buy the car, don't worry about maintaining the interior at all, you can learn from us in the detailing&care section and it will look better than brand new when you sell it. Seriously.
And as far as kids, I hope you have another car for big family road trips or something because the car is 2+2, meaning you can't shove 3 kids in the backseat like most cars. If you wanna do that your going to need to get a sedan.

I got my 05 bo g35 coupe with nav, black interior and all other options, 34k miles for 20,289 with out tax and tags. Total came out to just under 21k. Still under warranty for a lil while, carfax clean one owner, no dents/dings. very few scrathces. I felt like I got a good deal..hope you can use this info to compare, if you are in NoVA I can tell you where I went. If you choose to go without nav and not black on black...this place good give you a better deal than I got.
thanks all, I do have a landcruiser for long hauls. I know the back seat only fits 2 , but I usually don't have all three. The dealer here won't move at all on price so I will continue my search. I have a '97 landcruiser I would like to sell first. (anyone interested? haha) Thanks for the replies, I will keep you guys posted.

Sorry I forgot to mention at an auction you will get a great deal like stated by poonATTACK, but 19-21k at a dealer is not bad for that car. If you can go to an auction and check the car out well go for it.
Try to get something newer, prices are falling.
Here's some proof from an auction.

Thanks all, I am going to list my 97 landcruiser to sell myself and take my time finding the right G. I really liked the one I saw but the dealer will not budge from his asking of $22,900. H has had the car on his lot over 100 days, says he paid more for it then, already dropped price from $24,900. I told him good luck if he was going to hold out on his price. I'll keep an eye on it and maybe get it for my price in a few weeks. My b day is at the end of the month I hope to find one then. Let me know if anyone wants a landcruiser.
Hi, I am also looking for one. I found this one near my house: http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?paId=136908117, but i have to sell my 06 Maxima SE first
