I'm sorry because I know there are probably tons of threads with this question answered but I was just searching and couldn't find any so here goes...

I want to install a double din in my coupe and I'm probably going with the JDM dash and A/C kit because the other one looks pretty cheap. Just wondering if there is any way to get around losing my dual climate control? Also, what exactly to I lose? Both sides still work, just set to one temperature? Are there any other options that I could take like getting it done through the dealer or something. Finally, I would assume that I could install it myself, correct?

Thanks in advance.

Ok so those are the directions to convert my a/c unit to in essence save myself the $200 to buy a new one, right? Thank you, this seems pretty easy but I just don't know what flash soldering is when the directions are discussing removing the dual climate control off the circuit board. If you could let me know that would be great.
