Wasnt't there an EVO an EBay not too long ago that someone won for a ridiculously low price, then the dealership selling said "Sorry, we're not selling at that price"? This might end up being the same thing.

I'm thinking hijacked account. Everything else they have sold has been archery equipment. The e-mail address under the SEPARATE buy it now link does not make sense for someone who sells archery equipment.

If I was a buyer, I'd contact them and tell them I'll buy it for $9000, but I want to pick it up and pay for it in person.

 

its a scam. its been done countless times with hijacked accounts selling m3's, evo's, integra type r's etc.

 

Bid on it anyway. Dude is apparently cancelling bids.

It looks real but 9,000? If something looks to good to be true it usually is. They could put a for sale sign in the window at the mall and could get so much more money.
Email them and tell hi/her that you are in the area and would like to test it out, call their bluff. If the title's there and it runs ok 9,000 is a steal.

There was a case when some internet scam guys tried to sell a GTR that was actually owned by someone else. Apparently those guys stole pictures of the GTR from the net and decided to set up an auction for it. They also replied with similar, fairly decent replies. If there is somebody in the area in this forum, they should go check it out to see if the deal is real.

I bid on it, he cancelled the bid, now I am not allowed to bid on it anymore--he has me blocked.

You can notify e-bay about it, but as usual, their lameness prevents them from doing anything about fradulent auctions.
