gas cap....what the **** my gas lid wont open....so i cant put gas in my car....anyone ever experienced this or no of any way to manually open the lid?????

I have heard about the door to get into the gas tank getting stuck. Apparently the problem is with the part that unlocks the door when you unlock the car.

The first thing to try is drive around for a few minutes, and then try to get in again.

If that doesn't work, take it to the dealer to get it fixed.

If you can't wait, you can get in there through the trunk.

I've been thru this...but once I realized I'd locked my car, Hey no wonder the
gas door won't open the car's locked.... So I said to myself, "self that
was dumb!"

Lol i did this just the other day. I was like WTF why won't the gas door open. Spent like 5 mins fiddling with it then i was like.."Oh yeah.. I'm dumb"

 

yea i was in panic mode when i jsut posted this but i used the search button and it turns it looks very simple to go through the trunk to get it open...thankz guys

 

What? My coupe is an 06 and doesn't have any sort of lock. Is that only available in AT's or what? Thanks. BTW, my 2K MAX SE does have it and I love it.

 

^ Nope not an AT thing. It should lock when your car is locked
