OK heres another race story..haha...

I make left turn in a lane that has another left turn lane parrallel to it. The GTI that is just on my 1/4 panel decided to punch it and hang next to me, so i gas it in 2nd and take off, he comes behind me, passes the car infront of him and can't catch me until we get to the light. I look over, he doesnt look so I think ok I'm done with him. Green light, I go first, not launching, and as soon as i hit the opposite side's crosswalk he punches it again and gets ahead 1.5 cars up. So I'm like dammit I can't let him think he beat me so I gassed it again in 2nd, caught up to him, shifted to 3rd and got a small chirp off on him before i pulled ahead by a car in like 2 seconds.

Anyways.....I wanna know how many of you get hit up for races more often than you should. Me? every other day. Civics, RSX's, preludes, v6 accords, VR6 anything, cavaliers (yes that chevy cavalier), CRX's, IS300's.... all raced and beaten. The only car that gave me a challenge was the Lancer Evolution (kicked my ***).

Races with cars that have no business racing with me, I just ignore. Its like me revving at a vette owner, I know hes just sitting in the driver seat smirking at the power under his right foot. Same when a civic or integra or any other econo box you mentioned revs it at me. Occasionaly high way sprints work for me, and the only true race I've been in was a very high speed and very wreckless race with an m3 roadster. Needless to say, he was impressed I hung with him, as he had the 300+ hp version. Those are the kinda races that are "worth it" to me. Just my $.02 though, dont mean to sound like I'm flaming.

I agree i've raced all of those cars and beaten every one of them. Except for the Evo. We raced from a light and he smoked me. But we got on the highway and did a 50 to 100 run and i pulled away by a car length. We did this 3 times and every time was the same outcome. I need to start carrying my camera around to catch all the action.

Get raced all the time once in a while ill play but if its not worth my gas then i usually just cruise. ill ike to play with porsches some of them who cant drive for sh*t its fun to embarass them
