rear end

I have a G35 2004 the rear end is very loud. It doesnt matter if you excellerate or decellarate the noise is constant. Im thinking about checking the bearings or maybe the rear end needs to be lubracated. Wanted to know does everyones stick to infinity products only or has anyone ever used generic brands like Lucas oil for the engine or rear end.

Are you talking about the exhaust?
I hope you don't mean exhaust bearings...

I'm honestly a tad bit confused, are you saying the exhaust is constantly loud like a droning sort of issue, or is it clunking in the suspension? This question could be giving any kind of answer, ranging from worn strut mounts to gaskets being worn down.. if you can be a bit more specific hopefully some of us can be of help to you.

.. or I'm just a bit slow today .. and didn't understand what you were trying to say

^ Oh , I apologize then.
I thought he meant rear end meaning, the rear section of the car.
Might be a gasket possibly, in any case I'm not sure but just throwing it out there, hope you get the issue resolved quickly!

What's that noise....?

Since you think it's in the rearend of the car when you have the oil changed
have them check the fluid level. There's also other areas
that can wear out and make noise since we have independent suspensions.

Whining, Grinding, what kind of sound?

+1 for having the fluid checked and bearings is a good idea too.

Good luck.

I had a constant whining diff that only came on while accelerating. It got louder and louder by the day.. Ended up having it replaced by warranty.
