problem with tires
alright so i have looked around and didnt find too much about this problem.
i have this problem everytime i take a long right or left turn for example like coming off a freeway from the front right or left tires i get this humming or rubbing sound. ive looked all around my tires and i dont see any marks or anything.
my tire size is
front : 225 45 r18
back : 245 45 r18
if somone can give me some advice on how to fix this or maybe where i should go?
thanks alot

Inside tire feathering, I can guarantee it.... I had this problem once and I ignored not because I thought nothing was wrong... My tire ended up blowing out on the highway and ruined my date... Yeah girls wont like it if they're waiting and you have to change to your spare..
Well I had to get new tires as it was too late.. The inner tread of the tire was being eaten up.. I think thats a common problem with the RE050A bridgestones.. They're very loud and very hummy.... lol is that even a word?
I'm not too sure if its fixable in your case.

Front feathering
Front inside feathering is an inheritent characteristic of G35 Coupe ownership. Regardless of tire type, after 7-8,000 miles, the feathering will begin to show up. Some tires, especially with aggressive tread blocks, are more prone to this condition and will be louder than other tires. Experimentation and research will help you find the quieter tires. There are a zillion posts on this subject if you do a search. Good luck.

i am not sure if it is front inside feathering. i just bought these michelin tires . im not sure which ones my parents got them for me haha.
well what happens is when im exiting a freeway usually and i hit the turn you hear a loud noise from the front or left wheel depending on which way im turning. its a loud noise and it slows me down. it just doesnt feel good u know?

Seems our problem is Bridgestones....!

adjustable a arms. Now all I need is some new Michelin PS2, going to start
shopping around. TireRack wants $350 per tire but I have a new better
connection, I'll find out tomarrow.

Yeah I've got the Michelin PS2's.. Such a great set of tires.
The bridgestones performed well but they were way too loud and they would drone.. Also they wear out very quickly.

I was also going to suggest a look at the bearings. Couldn't hurt.
Quick question though, not to distract from OP's orig, but it is my rear tires that seem to be wearing excessively. Inner only, I don't spin them. I'm running ps2's on the back and they replaced proxies, which where completely bald on the insides and looked ok on the out. And just of note, still have proxies on the front and everything seems very even. Also, I don't have a drop or upgraded suspension. It is the the standard sport package from factory.
Any ideas/experience?

about 99 times out of 100 if it were a wheel bearing, you would hear it on straight roads and it would go away when turning, not more pronounced. +1 on inner tire feathering. pick up some adjustable camber kits and be done
Are you running the same tires front and rear because it sounds like the vdc is activating.
I've seen where some tires are different sizes ( overall diameter ) even though the sidewall marked sizes are the same. This can cause the speed sensors to see a large enough difference in wheel speed and thus think that the tires are slipping. When that occurs vdc activates, applying braking pressure (kinda like abs) to one or more wheels to control the erroneously detected skid.
Try doing the same turn, but with the vdc turned off. If the problem doesn't reccur I think you've found your culprit.

i did try with the vdc off nothing, i thought it would be the same thing.
but the same problem came up.
i am going to get my wheel bearings checked out and maybe if i have to switch the tires. i hear how that helps alot but then there are also alot of negatives with doing that
