Turbo?

Hey everyone im new to this site and looking to get a turbo. whats everyone think single or twin for the o4 g35 coupe?

Depends what kind of power and powerband you want. Both should be awesome, Superchargers are fun too from what I hear. All depends on your budget, time, and desires from the setup. Search button is your Best Friend!!!!

duuuuude....twin turbo if built right with a few other goodies will get you close to 1000 hp...although you gotta have money flowing out the a-hole for that

not true..you can find one on the engine FS sec. for about 4200.00...twin at that. install probabaly 1500.00 maybe less
id go with twins if i could do it al over again

it all depends on what u want. u can get used kits for about 3-5k and run that. but if u want to get even more power u got 2 build ur engine. since ur new the g's engine runs safe with about 400hp. for me if u got the money i would run twin but have them seperated and not having one turbo run off the other

I was taking into account sleeving the block, lower compression heads for safety, etc.

don't skimp on a turbo set up, if you do, chances are it won't be reliable

Thanks for all the input guys. I have people here in Naples that can help me to put the turbo in so cost on installation is least of my concerns right now. Im really just trying to figure which route I should go. My idea is to put the twin then build the motor. Also i forgot who had said it but what do you mean run the turbos separately? How would you go about doing that? Because my understanding with twin is that one turbo is always spooling and the second kicks in for the powerband in mid RPM.
