Transporting Questions

Just bought a 2007 G35 from a dealer in Missouri, I need to get it to my home in Albany, CA through a transport service.

I was just wondering, should I get a covered transport for around $1,250 or is it ok with an uncovered transport for about $680.

What kind of wear might there be on the car from that long of a trip on a transport?

Two choices....good & questionable!

If it were my car I'd want the best possible protection especially during the
weather our nation is having. Sooooooo I'd vote for inclosed trailer trans.... just for the safety factor aka no damage!

I had my Tundra transported from Los Angeles to Cleveland in the middle of winter when I moved to Cleveland for a few months.

I paid 900 bucks for an uncovered truck. Yeah it was dirty, but I spent 20 bucks washing it rather than another 500 with a covered truck.

Its up to you tho. Only takes about 5 days.

I had my '05 G35 coupe shipped by DAS from Maine to California uncovered in the dead of winter! No problems with my G when it arrived! And you can start modding your G with the $570 you save

I am probably going to go that way too, even if I have to wash or detail, its still cheaper than the extra money.

All damage is covered under warranty.
