Post (Rca) amp question

I just bought a JL 10w7 sub and JL 500/1 amp. I was wondering how do you run the Rca wire from the amp on the G. Im also keeping the OEM Bose head unit.

I saw a DIY rca split from the rear speakers for 4 door G's but I was was wondering if it was the same thing on the coupe..HELP!?!

WAS also curious if there is rca cables in the back of the head unit or do I need a converter box?

should be the same, but that way is high outpout to high input. You can try to buy a device called hi-low audio converter.

check the audio visual forum sticky on the top. many people have wired it without the hi low converter but i had to buy one personally because it sent too high of a signal and sent my amp into protect.

You can wire the low (pre Bose amp) signal right in to a JL amp and it will work great.

I have your same exact setup and I followed the instructions in the link below and have had no problems

Thanks guys! Hey duggy how did you run the wire did you get a converter? or did you you just wire the rca from the AMP to the speaker wire? I looked at that DIY setup and I ask the guy but he said his is a 4 door Gand it might be different.
