The sprin rates that are advertised are the initial rates with no load. I spoke with Tein just a little bit ago and they said you can expect close to 1.5 times the initial rates since they're progressive rate springs.

I just ordered S-Techs and they advertise 360/274 F/R as the initial. The guy I talked to said that he didn't have the maxxed out rate but he said to expect closed to 480F and 500R

Looks great! those are the picks with spacers correct? If you do have spacers on these pics what are the specs (mm). I was leaning toward the 350 z H techs but this looks good and with no need for a camber kit even better. How does it ride compared to stock again?

yep, those ^ pics are with the Ichiba V2 spacers - 15mm front and 20mm rear. picked them up from Charles and B2 AutoDesigns, a sponsor here - highly recommend both he and the Ichibas.

i think the drop is perfect (imo) and like you the possibility of not needing a camber kit was the deal breaker for me. couldn't be more happy.

can't really say i notice any different good or bad from stock as far as ride quality.

Best news I've heard all day. The drop is exactly where I want to be, close some gap but not too low. Thanks for all the info fishhouse. I've been like a little kid on christmas eve waiting for the results.

i've got the sports suspension. don't think your "butt dyno" is really going to notice any major difference regardless.

wow...this totally is steering me away from getting S-techs...I loved the drop after reading this forum:https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...d-springs.html

....but now after reading about needing a camber kit and avoiding it, I'm loving H-techs. DOES ANYONE know if you need a camber kit for the H-techs for the z with our G's??

Its 50-50 with the 350z H-techs - some people need camber kits, some people don't. A lof of folks end up getting at least a rear camber kit though since 1) they're not too expensive and 2) rear tires ain't cheap!

I dig it, This is probably the only drop I'd put on my car, I don't like it super low and I think the car looks great as it is.
