my review with pics: Tein S-techs (z) from OEM Sport tuned springs
I went from OEM sport suspension springs to Tein S-tech springs for the Z.
Also added 25mm spacers all around to give my stock 19's a more aggressive look.
My Review:
Stiffness: Drives exactly like my sport suspension. My wife doesn't even notice the difference.
Handling: Corners MUCH better. Way less roll. I'm very happy with this aspect of the springs.
Drop: for looks, i'd like more of a drop. For drivability, these i'd say are perfect. I can still go over most speed bumps without scraping (as long as i slow way down) and i raaaarely scrape when going down a driveway/curb cut.
These pics are immediately after install and the springs have settled a little bit since then (not much, but i'd say visually even a tiny bit lower).

thanks for reading, hope this helps everyone who was in the same situation i was in (tein s-techs, tein h-techs, basics? etc. etc.)

looks really good man, I just did the same thing last week, put on my s-tech's with 25mm spacers all around. Although I gotta say, my car with the teins drives noticeably smoother and softer than before. The OEM used to **** me a lot in the daily pothole routine. I thought the stock suspension was way to stiff for a "luxury" car, but the biggest plus for me was the softer ride I get now, the car should've came stock like this. And as far as the spacers, I think the G coupe has horrible and I mean HORRIBLE wheel offsets from the factory, I mean WTF were they thinking, so yea the spacers are a must have if you're rolling on stockies

i have no camber adjustments yet. I'll just get them adjusted when i get an alignment in about 500 miles.
And yeah, Randy (caskyline) did my install. He's great, definitely recommend him with high regards.

I have a question.
I plan on droppping my G from stock OEm springs by changing with Tein S-Tech springs.
I heard that, I had to adjust the cambers? and I wasn't sure if that was true.
Or even necessary to do that. I plan on dropping my car in March and reply to this would be greatly appreciated. thanks~

You will need to adjust the camber, but no camber kit is necessary with this small a drop. You'll be able to get it within specs with a standard alignment. I still haven't even gotten mine done!
I'm in a similar situation, trying to decide between springs (g35, h-tech, s-tech) vs 350z (h-tech, s-tech), basics and the such. This is helpful.
Can I ask, why you decided to go with the 350z s-techs, instead of the g35 s-techs? For more of a drop?
Also, for the camber issues, do you plan to just install a rear kit? like an SPC camber/toe kit?
You guys have said that the ride is softer than stock? I've looked up the spring rates on the forum and it seems like these springs are MUCH softer than stock....does that mean it gives more of a "floaty" feel?

In addition to the previous posters question, would anyone know if this setup is softer than the OEM (Non-sport suspension) setup?
I searched for spring rates but did not find any concrete comparisons.

UNLESS you have the 05+ coupes with OEM 19's. Then the rear 350z S-techs is about 25lbs softer than the +05 coupe that came with OEM 19's.
People go with 350z S-techs becase tein made the mistake of making the rears too soft spring rates...plus the 350z springs lowers the car more than the ones made for the G35.

Now i'm really tempted to get them.

Just to clarify so we are all on the same page here are the springrates for OEM and s-techs
Oem linear springs
Front:314 Rear:342
Oem linear springs
G35 coupes 2005/2006 with oem 19’s only
350Z 2004.5 to 2006
Front:314 Rear:427
Tein S-tech 350z (fronts are progressive, rears are linear) .7”/.6” drop on 350Z G35 drops will be higher
Spring rates in LBS 386/402 (estimated front intial rate is 327lbs)
Tein S-tech G35 coupe & sedan (fronts are progressive, rears are linear)
Spring rates in LBS 358/274 (final rates only, softer intial front progressive rate unknown)
The 350z s-techs are actually about the same as stock in the front, and about as stiff in the rear as the 05+ sport suspension springs, the g35 s-techs have very soft rear springs, which IMO should not be installed on a coupe under any circumstances if you are concerned with performance at all
