Question Thump...then nothing

soooo ...

I'm driving home from work tonight, and get into it with a lil c-class...
zig zaggin' it thru traffic on the highway. I get a straightaway in the right lane from the center, so I do as I should..Punch it.

wump

nothing.

stomp it again, shes back but Imma little concerned..

WTF! revs drop below 1k, but I don't know exactly how low because I was watching traffic as I had NO GO, when I was expecting GO GO. justa little scary.

recently I had installed my popCharger and Ztube. but thats all. I have a 5at 04 coupe. anyone have any insight? btw its almost time for an oil change but I changed it in december, mobil1 syn. drove a 2000 mile excursion home for christmas, and put about 70-100 miles on it a week driving around. so its not really that due.

H e L p !!!

Check to make sure your pop charger is on tight it can come loose, my friends Z would stall when it did that.

It doesn't sound like any problem that would have to do with your oil.

As soon as I got home I had the hood popped, and was tuggin on the ztube and charger to make sure it was all good, which it was. I used to have the stall issue with my 4runner back in the day when I had put a snorkel on it.

Hmm then I have no clue maybe someone else has an idea?

So to clarify did you stomp it, no go, then it came back then dropped down to 1000 rpm or did the 1000 rpm thing happen when you stomped it the 1st time?

when was the last time you cleaned your MAF? or had ur plugs changed? or replaced ur fuel filter? or checked your timing?

if Gs are drive by wire...might wanna consider getting a drive by wire control unit (buddy club and greddy make them i believe)...computer controlled throttles SUCK

Sounds like VDC kicking in. It doesn't have to be wet roads to trigger it. If you switched lanes and tried to punch it, VDC might've detected wheel spin or the tail coming around, and stopped your momentum to keep something stupid from happening.
