Gas pedal mod???

Does anyone know if anyone makes a gas pedal mod for the G35?

Let me explain.....On Mercedes Benzs they have a mod that makes the gas pedal more sensitive. Shorter stomp to get to WOT...

I was hoping someone has come up with this mod so the G35 would be more sensitive like a G37....

Any input?

Thats needed on benz's because those cars you need to stomp on the gas for it to go 10mph. Our G's our fine.

Our gas pedal IS pretty sensitive. The new benz and bimmers have this little spring at the bottom, that is required to be compressed in order go go WOT. Frankly it's more annoying than anything else and it creates more lag, than add responsiveness. It's just another German complicated design that really don't work well in practical use.

OP, you may need to do research more. Benz and Audi has that mod for WOT mostly for boosted cars. I know B5 S4 2.7T has this mod because when you go WOT (flooring it), it actually going into limp mode to save the turbos from dying sooner than they are supposed to be. This mod is to stop the throttle pedal right where the WOT is happening instead going further into limp mode.

Sound like a good idea. I asked this question because my 2007 G35 sedan is way more sensitive than the older coupe I have.

Thanks,

Floyd

Bringing this thread back from the dead....

Ok I answered my own question gas pedal mod= SPRINT BOOSTER.

Does anyone have this? And will this mod make my tired 2003 coupe feel like my 2007 Sedan?

I have read the Sprint Booster gives the car a different feel, instant reaction from the gas pedal and no lag.

Like to hear from people who have this mod please......

Thanks.

Sprint Booster? Don't use it... Marion Jones did, and now she's broke and busted.

Just kidding... I've never heard of Sprint Booster, but I think the gas pedal in my '04 G35 Coupe is pretty damn sensitive.... much more so than I am.

Theres a couple of guys on the canadian section with it and they said that they felt a big difference in their 5AT. More responsive and no more lag.

if you're willing to shell out almost 300 just to get better throttle response, why not go all out and get full aftermarket ECU recalibration. in other words

GET TUNED.

Hey, i recently had the springbooster installed (about 4 days ago) and i'm STILL enjoying my newer ride sensation... all i can say is, it DOES make a BIG difference... it will certainly give you an impression that you have more "hp" but it just takes advantage of the horses you already have which are ready to be unleashed!!

its about 300$ CDN, it does more then just adjust the throttle position (as many say it does), it makes your auto shifting nearly instant.... as soon as you shift in manu-auto mode, it shifts right away.... when you floor it or even try to do a quick lane change, the gears stay longer and there is NO lag at all, so it feels like there is always power available...

disadvantages: gas mileage will drop after how you drive the car with the sprintbooster. you will always feel like sprinting .. but if you drive normally, then its a win-win situation.

hope this helps... GET IT if your thinking about it... its definetely worth it... especially if you have any mods that take advantage of the higher power band (3500K+)

... many mercedes/bmw users use this as well and its the real deal...
