Fuse next to + battery post blew, how to replace? (PIC)

So earlier today I was at home depot and experienced my 1st problem after owning the car for 1.5 years.

While starting, all my electrical cut out. I later noticed that this fuse is blown, has a small gap and no voltage gets across it. It says 120A on it.

how do I replace it? My poor car is still there...

most likely have to get that fuse from the dealer. it would take a serious short to blow a 120a fuse. like a dead battery short

WoW 120A fuse blew. Go dealer and check it out, not so good. But check everything that you have touched before bring to dealer.

What is all the extra stuff attached to the possitive side, I am guessing amps and stuff. I would start there.

Leave your other stuff disconnected after you get the new fuse in there until you figure out where the short is. 120 amps isn't a "short"... it's called "arc welding."

got the new fuse.... yay $60 at the dealer had to replace the entire fuseblock thingy.

Cheap fix for a broken car, but still sucks spending that on a fuse!

Not sure what blew it... stereo wasn't on b/c I was starting, and its relatively low-current stuff.

damn car.
