A few questions. As I don't have the original window sticker and I bought it at a Lexus dealership where they didn't know a ton about car let me ask a few questions from you guru's.

I keep reading about Brembo and 6MT....am correct in assuming I have neither? Brembo are upgraded brakes? I am not sure about what 6MT is on these cars, (I think manual tranny? duhh).

I do have the Bose stereo and the Nav system installed. I found by the glove box a DVD unit in a separate compartment, is this a DVD for the NAV updates?

 

1. Brembo's are easily spotted cuz they're gold and say... Brembo. Pretty sure it only came with Manual tranny / sport pkg.
2. 6MT is 6 speed, manual trans.
3. No, you can't play dvd's on there. However, if you get a dvd player, you can feed the video to your nav screen. It's in the audio section.

 

Thanks Todd, is the DVD thing is for uploading software onto the Nav? And on my computer screen there is a section that says, "maintenance" but its not available to select, is that only an option as well?

 

How can one tell the X from the Sport, etc?
